Main Components of SAP Leonardo Portfolio
1. SAP Leonardo Bridge
This component combines real-time information from connected things (products, assets, fleet, infrastructure, markets, and people) with business processes to turn extended supply chains into live supply chain environments.
2. SAP Leonardo Foundation
This component is called foundation because it offers the best in class of “business services” and “technology services” to enable users to rapidly build IoT applications making a copy of the “thing or device”(called “the digital twin”), reusable application services, and applying predictive algorithms to process a high velocity of data with the ability to stream analytics and run predictive scenarios.
3. SAP Leonardo Edge Computing
This component allows to execute business processes “locally” on an edge device[3] (e.g. gateways). How? Through protocol conversion, data persistence, data analytics and local business process execution capabilities for smooth data ingestion to the platform.
4. Connected Products
This component enables end-2-end visibility to product centric operations and ability to optimize compliance visibility, service availability and inventory replenishment across networks (customer – companies – suppliers).
5. Connected Assets
